08 Jun Dinosaurs Move Into Glasgow This Summer
Roaring Good Fun!
Glasgow has a whole host of activities of offer to keep the kids happy – from the Tall Ship and Riverside Museum, to Kelvingrove Museum and park, weekly roller disco with Rollerstop and everything from climbing to bowling at intu Braehead. Really, you couldn’t ask for more, but this city always aims to impress so in summer 2017 the clock is rolling back time a few thousand years to the land of the ancient dinosaurs.
The Botanic Gardens provide a lush backdrop for this exciting adventure and what’s more, our hotel is just a walk away. Delve into a different world as life-size, animated dinosaurs are installed in every hidden nook and cranny. There are over 30 different models to be seen, including the notorious T-Rex and shrieking pterodactyl – your little ones are sure to let out a few shrieks of their own as they discover exciting species hiding in the fauna!
Jurassic Kingdom is not only about fun; the event is designed to be educational too. There’s the chance to dig up dinosaur bones at an excavation site as well as learn about plant varieties at the Botanic Gardens. Mums and dads aren’t forgotten at this family event as there are street food and drink vendors to keep everyone fed and watered throughout the day.
Tickets are priced at £11.50 for adults and £9.50 for children and the event takes place from August 26th until September 3rd.
