Hot on its heels (or kilts) is the Glasgow International Comedy Festival 2026, staging belly laughs across iconic venues like the Citizens’ Theatre, King’s Theatre, Old Fruitmarket, Òran Mór, Theatre Royal, and more. Expect the likes of Sue Perkins, Tom Davis, Connor Burns, Judi Love, Bridget Christie, Craig Hill, Mark Simmons, Thomas Green—and even a Gala finale—for nearly three weeks of side-splitting fun. It has to be said it is one of our favourite festivals on the annual calendar and our guests love coming back year after year.

Glasgow’s festival calendar for late 2025 and 2026 is the perfect combo of music, laughs, and a serious dose of Scottish flair. First up, in 2025 is Celtic Connections that blankets the city from mid-January to February 1, delivering 18 magical days of folk, world, and roots music (think ceilidhs, talks, and impromptu jam sessions in unexpected corners).
