Welcoming and kind. Neil and all at the Ambassador were welcoming and kind during my recent stay. I really appreciated their care as had travelled length of UK alone for family funeral. Lovely quaint hotel Quaint spotlessly clean Hotel, friendly staff, modern clean bathroom, only issue mattresses also need updating twin room I booked had 2 old lumpy mattresses but I’m sure this will be forthcoming given the high presentation of the hotel, Situated in a nice part of the city next to the Botanical gardens and the Oran Mor church events venue![Tripadvisor]()

Great for a single traveller Very comfortable and clean single room with view over the botanic gardens . Felt very safe lovely breakfast freshly cooked . 10 mins from buses into Glasgow and the subway stations on Byres Rd and at Kelvin bridge . Easy to use 10 mins to city centre . Cozy place in Glasgow's West End The hotel is really nice. It is located in a quiet road, close to the botanic garden. The room was relatively small and basic but with all what I need. Good hotel in Glasgow We arrived very late at night after the hotel staff had gone home. Their communication with us was above and beyond though! They emailed me to confirm what time we would be there and they left our keys and room number info for us at the front entrance so we could check ourselves in. We had 2 rooms here, a single room and a double room. While the rooms were very small, they were comfortable and clean. We were pleased with our one night stay here. We would definitely come back! We stayed at the Ambassador Hotel for one night. We had a cozy room on the second floor. We felt very comfortable there. Everything was right. The staff were very nice and accommodating even on arrival, breakfast service and departure. Nearby are shops, restaurants and bars. The hotel has its own parking space in the "backyard". The driveway is narrow and parking in and out of the car can be a bit risky depending on occupancy and vehicle size. Possibly look ahead and prefer to ask at the reception for a voucher to park on the street directly at the hotel with the RingGo for 6 pounds a day.![Tripadvisor]()

Overall a good experience Great location in the West End of Glasgow. We had a comfortable but smallish twin room with a small bathroom. Welcoming staff and free parking. We will stay again. Breakfast was available but we made other arrangements. Small but useable tv.

Lovely warm and cosy hotel, set in a beautiful and quiet part of Glasgow by the Botanical Gardens. The room was an ideal size for a single person. It was clean, warm and comfortable, as was the bed.
