Great location
Great location in a nice area. Warm welcome and suitcase carrying from Neil. Warm rooms. Comfy beds. Short walk to Hillhead station. Close to Botanic Gardens. A wonderfully presented hotel in a convenient location just across the river from a beautiful botanic gardens. The entire Staff were attentive and courteous. Comfortable night’s sleep. Perfect for a short trip to Glasgow

Ideal place to stay when visiting Glasgow. Very comfortable hotel on quiet road by Botanical Gardens. There are good links to Glasgow attractions and it's only a short walk to the restaurants and trendy shops of Byers Rd area. Single room was compact with a nice view over the trees above the River Kelvin. Bed was very comfy. Lovely hotel, great location.
Had a lovely stay at the Ambassador. Receptionist was a delight, so welcoming. The parking at the back does test your reversing skills, but we go there in the end. It was a birthday treat so the hotel kindly upgraded us to an apartment. Lots of space, with kitchen facilities, a settee and a huge bed. Breakfast was great, all the standards. Very good location
The room was a bit small though clean and comfortable. However it was all that I needed for an overnight stay. It was in a quiet area next door to the Botanic Gardens. Good experience, great staff.
The room was very spacious and The bed was big. There was not many people working but they all worked very hard and they helped us with everything we needed. Special mention Liz, she was very kind and polite, and she worked very hard and solved our problems with kindness and proffessionality. The breakfast was very complete and delicious. Great Location, Friendly Staff
Very nice hotel and excellent location. Vross the street and you're in the Botanic Gardens. Byers Road is maximim five minute walk. Single room is small but has what you need. Comfy bed. The tv is on the wall and is really too small to watch comfortably as you can only sit on the bed or at the desk, quite far from the tv. Off-street parking is limited, and getting to it, and back out, is not for the faint of heart. You drive along a NARROW alley, barely wide enough for one car, and turning to exit again can be challenging. There is street parking. Buy a voucher from the hotel. The location of this hotel is great and the workers here are lovely but for a single business room I wouldn't recommend it. In my room, the carpets on the floor are mouldy with a red stain on the ground, and every now and then, you can smell the mould which isnt really apeasing. They definitely wouldn't walk barefoot at all. The room itself is alright for 1 night i can handle it. The bathroom is nice and clean, so I'm not going to say bad to that. We stayed here recently during our trip around Scotland. The Ambassador Hotel was our favorite accommodations by far. Our rooms were spacious, beautiful and very clean. From booking to departure we received exceptional service from Neil. The location was perfect.  Easy access to Byres Road, the University, Kelvin walk, and the Botanical Gardens. Wir hatten zu dritt ein sehr geräumiges, sauberes 3-Bett Zimmer.Es sah aus wie aus einer ehemaligen Villa, mit Stuck an der Decke.Es gab eine kleine Ecke mit Teekocher Kaffe, Tee...
Das Bad war super sauber.Wir haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt.
Die Kommunikation mit dem Personal sehr freundlich und schnell.Das Hotel/Appartments liegt direkt mit Blick auf den botanischen Garten in Fußreichweite gibt es viele Cafes und Restaurants und eine U-Bahn Staion in die City.Für uns unbedingt als Anlaufstelle, wenn wir wieder nach Glasgow kommen, es liegt sehr ruhig.
