Great location and spacious room.

Good experience, great staff.
The room was very spacious and The bed was big. There was not many people working but they all worked very hard and they helped us with everything we needed. Special mention Liz, she was very kind and polite, and she worked very hard and solved our problems with kindness and proffessionality. The breakfast was very complete and delicious. Great Location, Friendly Staff
Very nice hotel and excellent location. Vross the street and you're in the Botanic Gardens. Byers Road is maximim five minute walk. Single room is small but has what you need. Comfy bed. The tv is on the wall and is really too small to watch comfortably as you can only sit on the bed or at the desk, quite far from the tv. Off-street parking is limited, and getting to it, and back out, is not for the faint of heart. You drive along a NARROW alley, barely wide enough for one car, and turning to exit again can be challenging. There is street parking. Buy a voucher from the hotel. A great place to discover Glasgow or simply to relax by the Botanical Gardens.
Quite simply great location with the Botanical Gardens at the door, friendly staff who made sure we had everything needed and great apartment twin room with decent WiFi. Perfect overnight stay.
Warm welcome when we checked in. Comfortable room with all you need for an overnight stay. We didn’t have breakfast but it smelt delicious. Parking available round the back of the hotel. A Good Hotel

Great place to stay!
The people were helpful and friendly, breakfasts were great (lots of choices, hot foods done well), large comfortable room, quiet area and perfect location for visiting the Botanic Garden, university and museums. A very comfortable stay in Glasgow
A very comfortable overnight stay in a hotel I’ve used before so no hesitation recommending it. Room was well appointed and breakfast was delicious with a wide range of options. It was an overnight stay where the hotel served a purpose location wise, as we normally choose a hotel with a bar and restaurant...
However, it was very clean and comfortable, and for £10 a very reasonable choice for breakfast...

The location is perfect for us as we were visiting out son at the uni.  The carpark at the rear is very small and access is very tight however it's free.  The breakfast was very good the only gripe was our room.  The shampoo cover in the bathroom kept coming off when using it also the door lock was very stiff.  The dressing table was placed in the corner next to the bathroom door which we found odd not only was it in the way but it didn't get any natural light from the window. My reservation was made incredibly last minute when i realized all the sleeping i was planning on the plane didnt happen.  The room was very convenient on first floor but not much wider than the bed was long.  That said, staff was awesome and very helpful, location was way better than i had time to appreciate being right across the street from botanIcal gardens and paths along the Kelvin river.  Breakfast was generous and very flavorful.  My first try at black pudding and potatoe scones.

This was my second time at The Ambassador Hotel. It's such a great hotel and so convenient for  exploring Glasgow. I was met by Liz who was cheerful and helpful at showing me to my room. The next morning she greeted me too.
